Ahtisa Manalo places 3rd in Miss Universe 2025 'Beyond the Crown'
Ahtisa Manalo snagged third place in Miss Universe’s “Beyond the Crown” category.
The Filipina beauty queen’s win was announced at the Coronation Party following the Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok, Thailand.
“Ahtisa continues to shine. She proudly takes 3rd place in Beyond the Crown, proving that her heart, purpose, and impact speak just as powerfully as her performance,” Miss Universe Philippines said on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Paraguay’s Yanina Gómez came in first place, and Netherlands’ Nathalie Mogbelzada came in second.
In Ahtisa’s “Beyond the Crown” advocacy video, she championed youth empowerment and leadership development, especially in a time of rapid change and uncertainty.
“Because leadership has never mattered more, and yet, it's the one thing we often forget to teach. Around the world, 31% of young people say their education doesn't prepare them for real life. Nearly one in four admit they've never learned leadership at all,” she said.
“We prepare workers, but rarely leaders. We train minds, but not always hearts. Today, more than 2.1 million young Filipinos are not in school, not employed, and not trained—not because they lack potential, but because no one showed them how to use it,” she added.
Ahtisa finished her Miss Universe 2025 journey as the 3rd Runner-Up. Mexico’s Fatima Bosch was declared the winner.
After the pageant, Ahtisa said on Facebook, “Maraming salamat po mga kababayan at sa lahat ng #Ahtistahins.”
She was also praised by the officials in her hometown of Quezon province.
