Miss Universe 2025 judge Louie Heredia proud of Ahtisa Manalo after pageant journey
Louie Heredia, one of the Miss Universe 2025 selection committee members, couldn't hide his pride in fellow kababayan Ahtisa Manalo after her journey in the competition.
On Instagram, the Filipino singer shared a photo of himself with Ahtisa during the pageant along with a short but sweet message for the beauty queen.
"I am very proud of you [Ahtisa]! You did great and you deserve the high scores I gave you in all the categories of the competition. God bless you more," he wrote in the caption.
Louie is best known for the songs "Nag-iisang Ikaw," "Una at Huling Mamahalin," and "Can Find No Reason." He is also best known for co-hosting the '90s variety show "Lunch Date."
Ahtisa represented the Philippines at Miss Universe 2025 held in Bangkok, Thailand, where she finished third runner-up. Mexico's Fatima Borsch was crowned the winner.
During the coronation night, Ahtisa stunned in a white bikini and later in an elegant silver evening gown by Val Taguba.
For the national costume competition, she wore a Mak Tumang creation inspired by Philippine fiestas.
Ahtisa also placed third in Miss Universe's "Beyond the Crown" category.
She is set to make her homecoming in the country soon.
