Markiplier unveils tense final trailer for 'Iron Lung,' horror film to be released in January 2026

"Iron Lung," the upcoming horror film directed by YouTuber Markiplier, is set for a theatrical release on January 30, 2026.

On Saturday, Markiplier uploaded the one-minute and 44-second final trailer for the movie, which gave a chilling first look at what promises to be a deeply unsettling cinematic experience.

In the trailer, viewers are plunged into claustrophobic visuals with a lone submarine navigating cold metal corridors, ominous sounds, and shadowy hints of horror deep below.

The film is based on the 2022 horror game by David Szymanski and is accompanied by music by Andrew Hulshult.

According to a report by Variety, the movie marks Markiplier's debut as a feature filmmaker. It is a self-funded project in which he serves as director, writer, producer, editor, and lead actor.

He is planning an initial run in 50 to 100 independent theaters across the United States.
