Miss Jamaica Universe 2025 still in 'specialized medical care,' details injuries suffered from stage fall

Miss Universe Jamaica 2025 Dr. Gabrielle Henry is still undergoing medical treatment with 24-hour specialist supervision, almost three weeks since her fall during the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary competition in Thailand.

According to a joint statement by the beauty queen's family and Miss Universe Organization (MUO), Gabrielle suffered from "intracranial hemorrhage with loss of consciousness, a fracture, facial lacerations and other significant injuries."

Gabrielle is set to return to Jamaica in the coming days and will be transferred directly to the hospital for continued treatment, the statement added. She will have a full medical escort team.

The Henry family said the MUO took "full and immediate responsibility" over the incident and continues to fund all the medical expenses.

"The Henry family is deeply grateful to the Miss Universe Organization for their unwavering compassion, presence, and love shown," the statement said.

The MUO also affirmed that Gabrielle "holds no responsibility for the incident."

"The Henry family extends their sincere gratitude to Jamaica, the Miss Universe community, and supporters around the world for their continued love, prayers, and encouragement."

Gabrielle fell from the main stage during the evening gown portion of the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary competition and had to be carried out on a stretcher.

Meanwhile, Mexico’s Fatima Bosch was declared Miss Universe 2025. The Philippines’ Ahtisa Manalo placed third runner-up.
