Who is Anna Blanco, the new Miss Charm?

Venezuela's Anna Blanco was crowned the new Miss Charm at the pageant ceremony held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Friday night.

Here are some fun facts about the beauty queen:

She is a pageant veteran

Before winning Miss Charm, Anna already competed in several pageants.

She was previously named Miss Grand Venezuela 2024, but did not place in the international pageant.

She is a musician

Aside from being a beauty queen, Anna is also a musician.

According to Latin Times, Anna is a trained vocalist and songwriter. She studied popular music performance in Canada and is completing her bachelor's degree in popular music performance and songwriting in London. She also plays piano and guitar.

For the question and answer portion of Miss Charm, Anna talked about how her music background can help support her community.

“Me, personally, as a musician, I really hope I can encourage everybody to be more empathetic, because music is a language that unites us all. I think we can all understand each other a little better through art, music, and the sound of harmony,” she said.
