'Sakamoto Days' is getting another season

"Sakamoto Days" is gearing up for another anime season!

TMS Anime announced the good news on Saturday with a teaser trailer for the popular action series.

"Sakamoto Days" is based on Yuuto Suzuki's manga of the same name. It was adapted into anime earlier this year.

The anime's first season premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliated channels on January 11, and it also made its Netflix debut on the same day.

It was previously announced that a live action adaptation is set for 2026, starring Japanese pop idol Ren Meguro as Sakamoto.

"Sakamoto Days" follows the story of Sakamoto, a retired professional hitman-turned-convenience store owner who comes back to his dark past to protect his family and loved ones.
