Alyssa Dimaculangan, also known as The Blessed Bhie on TikTok, sat down with GMA News Online to give a general tarot reading and a rundown of guidance forecasts for the Mutable, Fixed, and Cardinal signs.

In astrology, the zodiac signs are categorized into four elements: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water. They are also divided into three zodiac modalities: Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable, which pertain to how each sign expresses its energy.

Each modality contains one sign from each element: fire, earth, air, and water.

Cardinal signs are associated with beginnings, leadership, and taking action, while Mutable signs are associated with change, versatility, and adaptability. Fixed signs, on the other hand, are associated with stability, determination, and persistence.

To give you a better overview of the year ahead, here are Alyssa’s readings for each modality sign.

Mutable signs: Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces

For 2026, the Mutable signs are reminded to take action and step up in their much-needed quest for stability.

“Mutable signs are finally going to be able to get everything together by taking initiative and working with what genuinely favors them,” Alyssa said.

“This year is about reclaiming authority, reclaiming your boundaries, reclaiming yourself in such a way that, ‘Okay, this is my life, this is what I'm going to do so that I can feel success this year’,” she added.

Fixed Signs: Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius

For the Fixed signs, 2026 is the year for letting go.

“The universe is talking about surrender,” Alyssa said. “If people have to let go of important aspects of their lives—whether relationships, routines, or situations that no longer serve them—they are making room for opportunities and blessings that will serve them in the long run.”

“The year may not have exactly started the way that they wanted to, but there is going to be potentially a big blessing that will come this year that will be much more aligned than what they have hoped for,” she added.

Cardinal Signs: Libra, Capricorn, Cancer, Aries

Focusing on oneself is the theme for the Cardinal signs in 2026.

“You are not the caregivers of everyone else,” Alyssa said. “After holding on to so much responsibility, know that you can finally drop what no longer needs to be fixed by you specifically.”

“2026 is going to be the year when this group experiences some sort of reclamation or energetic glow-up, after focusing so much on things that matter while neglecting themselves,” she added.

General reading for 2026

Alyssa shared that while a brand-new year is upon us, we are still in the process of “shedding” energy from 2025’s Year of the Wooden Snake until February, which officially marks the start of the Year of the Fire Horse.

“Present energy-wise, I definitely see that we are currently going through a period of a lot of big things happening without us having too much of an input,” she said.

“And because of this, I believe that a lot of people feel burnt out or detached, and that's completely fine,” she added. “2025 was also a very challenging period for a lot of people, both personally and collectively.”

Alyssa also said that 2026 will be a productive year for advocating for oneself.

“This year is going to be a very productive year for not only fighting for what's right, but for advocating for ourselves in the best possible way,” she said.

“2026 is also going to be the year wherein we do choose ourselves,” she added. “New jobs, new beginnings, and I really believe that it's because we are meant to align with what we believe is right for us during this time.”
