GMA Kapuso Foundation gives food packs, medicines, face masks to residents affected by Ada in Catanduanes
A total of 12,000 residents in Catanduanes who were affected by the rains brought on by a shear line and Tropical Depression Ada received aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation through its Operation Bayanihan project.
According to a "24 Oras" report on Monday, fishermen like Jack Cerillo have been unable to go out to sea for three weeks due to the inclement weather.
Meanwhile, Rosemarie Capistrano, a farmer, has been sidelining as a manicurist and seamstress. Per the report, she has yet to recover the losses she incurred from the damage caused by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine and Super Typhoon Pepito in 2024, and Super Typhoon Uwan in 2025.
GMA Kapuso Foundation distributed food packs to residents in Caramoran. It also donated medicines, vitamins, and face masks to the Rural Health Unit of Caramoran
In total, 12,000 individuals in the towns of Viga, San Miguel, and Caramoran received aid from the foundation.
