What Sisi Rondina and Eya Laure learned from bashing

Sisi Rondina and Eya Laure have faced their fair share of bashing. 

On “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Tuesday, the volleyball stars opened up about what they have learned from the experience. 

In Sisi’s case, she looked back on the bashing she received after not knowing about SB19 in 2024.

“Aminado naman ako na hindi ko naman intensyon ‘yon and at least that pangyayari is may natutunan ako and it [is] being more cautious kung hindi naman kilala and maging maingat na lang,” Sisi said.

Sisi added that everyone has moved on from it and that both sides were able to talk.

Meanwhile, Eya said that bashing taught her to focus on what really matters.

“Kung sino ‘yung nakakakita ng paghihirap mo, sila ‘yung parang may ano talaga, kung ano ‘yung kailangan ko pang i-improve sa sarili ko,” she said.

So whenever she experiences bashing, Eya noted, “Opinion niyo ‘yan. I-re-respect ko ‘yan, parang ganun na lang.”

Sisi plays beach volleyball for Alas Pilipinas and is a Southeast Asian Games gold medalist, while Eya plays for Choco Mucho Flying Titans.
