Miss World Philippines 2026: Ifugao, Quezon City win Best in Swimsuit

Miss World Philippines 2026 made a surprise choice of announcing two winners of Best in Swimsuit.

Valerie Pawid West of Ifugao and Asia Rose Simpson of Quezon City shared the award on the pageant's coronation night on Tuesday.

The two candidates are part of the Top 15 and have won several special awards.

Valerie was named Miss Bench Active, Miss Honest Glow, Miss Hikari, Miss Monarch Montage International, Miss Pro Shot, Miss Charity and Province of the Year, 1st runner-up in online voting, and Sports Challenge winner.

Asia was named Talent Challenge winner and Beauty with a Purpose winner.

The Miss World Philippines 2026 coronation night is underway at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The pageant is set to crown five queens tonight: Miss World Philippines, Miss Global Philippines, Miss Tourism Philippines, Universal Woman Philippines, and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International Philippines.

Reigning queen Miss World Philippines 2024 and Miss World Asia 2025 Krishnah Gravidez will crown her successor. —MGP, GMA Integrated News
