Ely Buendia announces new single 'Ate'
Ely Buendia is set to release a new single.
Titled "Ate," it is the OPM legend's first release since the 2024 album "Method Adaptor."
Ely also teased the upcoming single with an entry to the "What were you like in the '90s?" trend, sharing throwback pictures of himself in an Instagram Reel.
"'Dad, what were you like in the 90's?' Writing songs. Still am. 'Ate' out March 26. Pre-save now," Ely said in the caption.

Ely is a Pinoy rock icon. He fronted the Eraserheads before starting Pupil and then embarking on a solo career.
"Method Adaptor" was Ely's second solo album following "Wanted: Bedspacer" in 2000. He also released "In Love & War" in 2010, which featured artists like Francis M and Gloc-9.
The album comprises 10 tracks, including the previously released "Bulaklak sa Buwan" and "Tagpi-Tagping Piraso."
In celebration of the album, Ely had a concert at 123 Block in Mandaluyong City in 2024.
