BTS sets records on Spotify, other streaming platforms with 'Arirang'
BTS is officially back!
The K-pop group has made history with several records on different platforms for their comeback album, "Arirang."
On Spotify, the new album has become the most-streamed K-pop album in the platform's history, as well as the most-streamed album in a single day in 2026.

Meanwhile, "Arirang" broke Apple Music's record for the "biggest K-pop album" based on worldwide first-day streams.

Amazon Music also announced that "Arirang" recorded the biggest first-day global streaming numbers for a K-pop album.

BTS made their monumental return on Saturday evening with a grand performance at Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square.
The group announced a hiatus in 2022. Later that year, the members started enlisting in the military in batches while pursuing solo careers.
The group reconvened in 2025 and released their new album, "Arirang," earlier this week.
