Farmers in Mt. Province affected by fuel price hike to receive aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation
Farmers in Mountain Province who are affected by the rising fuel prices amid the tensions in the Middle East are set to receive aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation under its Operation Bayanihan project.
According to "24 Oras" on Monday, farmers in Bauko are struggling to sell their produce due to the high transportation costs. Some farmers also had no choice but to sell their produce at low prices.
To support the farmers, the GMA Kapuso Foundation headed to Mountain Province on Monday to deliver aid for them.
On Tuesday, another team from the foundation will head to Cardona, Rizal, to also deliver aid for affected fishermen, fish vendors, and tricycle drivers.
For those who wish to support GMA Kapuso Foundation's projects, donations may be made via Metrobank, Land Bank, BDO, Bank of Commerce, UnionBank, PNB, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Lazada, Shopee, and Palawan Pay. Visit the GMA Kapuso Foundation website for more information. —CDC, GMA News
