Imelda Schweighart joins Miss Grand International All Stars edition
Imelda Schweighart is joining the Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars edition!
On Facebook, Monday, the MGI organization announced that the Filipino-German beauty queen is among the Philippine delegates for the first-ever edition of the All Stars competition.
The MGI described Imelda as "a legendary multi-hyphenate and a true icon of her generation."
"She won her first national crown at just 15 years old. A professionally trained actress since childhood, she rose as a premier leading lady alongside some of the most prominent artists of the 2010s era. Today, she is a prolific singer-songwriter, music producer, and visionary entrepreneur," the organization said.
"Her journey is defined by resilience, individuality, and authenticity. Known for her unapologetic spirit and editorial edge, Imelda brings a lifetime of stage mastery to the global spotlight — reminding the world that icons aren’t born, they are made."
The MGI's announcement comes after the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) organization announced the removal of one candidate from the 2026 competition following a review of concerns regarding her participation.
Although the MUPH organization did not disclose the identity of the candidate involved, Imelda—who was the representative of Kalibo, Aklan, for the competition—took to Instagram to post a cryptic message.
"Where do we go from here?" she captioned her Instagram Reel on Sunday, March 29.
In an earlier Instagram Reel, she also recognized her supporters, saying, “To everyone sending strength and standing by the truth: I see you. Your support is the wind beneath my wings.”
Imelda now joins Philippine candidates Gazini Ganados, Keylyn Trajano, Alexia Núñez, and Fuschia Anne Ravena, who will be competing for the MGI All Stars crown.
The upcoming pageant is open to all women and trans women aged 20 to 40 who have previously competed in any international pageant but have yet to clinch the crown.
