SB19's 'Moonlight' added in 'Music for the Moon' playlist by European Space Agency

SB19's "Moonlight" has been added to the "Music for the Moon" playlist created by the European Space Agency (ESA) on Spotify in honor of the Artemis lunar missions.

It joins a lineup of moon-themed songs from artists all over world, including "Blue Moon" by The Mavericks, "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra, "Moon River" by Frank Ocean, "Under the Cherry Moon" by Prince, "Dancing with the Moonlight" by Scorpions, "Mr Moonlight" by The Beatles, and more.

"Moonlight" is SB19's collaboration track with Ian Asher and Terry Zhong. It was released in 2024.

A rearranged version of the song is one of the tracks in SB19's Simula at Wakas: Kickoff Concert album.

Last week, four astronauts were launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the first crewed lunar mission in 53 years. They are Reid Wiseman, Victory Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen.

The mission is named Artemis II, which follows the uncrewed moon-orbiting mission Artemis I in 2022. The crew are aboard the Orion capsule, which reached the Moon on April 6.

They are now preparing for returning to the Earth via "fireball" re-entry through the atmosphere. They are set to the land on the Pacific Ocean. —MGP, GMA News
