Would Eman Bacosa Pacquiao face brother Jimuel in a boxing match? Sparkle star answers
Eman Bacosa Pacquiao made it clear he has no plans of facing his older brother, Jimuel, in a boxing match, even if given the opportunity.
On Thursday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the Sparkle star was asked if he would accept a hypothetical offer to fight Jimuel in the ring under a “Pacquiao vs. Pacquiao” match.
“Unang-una, hindi po. Kasi kapatid ko po siya, tsaka wala naman pong kasiyahan na mangyayari doon kung matalo man o manalo ka sa kapatid mo,” Eman said.
[First of all, no. He's my brother and there won't be any happiness that can happen from such an event, whether or not you win or you loss in the hands of your brother.]Eman also noted that their father, Manny Pacquiao, would not want to see them fight each other.
“Siyempre ayaw din ‘yon ni dad. Ayoko rin masaktan si daddy doon,” he said. “Tsaka I really love you, Kuya.”
[Of course, dad won't like that. I also don't want to hurt dad there. I really love you, kuya.]In the same interview, Eman was asked about his relationship with Jimuel and how they are doing as siblings.
“Ayos naman po. Support po ako sa career niya,” he said.
[We're OK. I support his career.]
However, he admitted that they don’t have moments to talk to each other because "busy siya sa Amerika."
Jimuel is the son of Manny with Jinkee Pacquiao, while Eman is Manny’s son with Joanna Bacosa.
Eman started boxing at nine years old, having naturally discovered the sport through his father, who inspired him.
Eman is set to appear in “Never Say Die,” which stars Jillian Ward, David Licauco, Kim Ji Soo, Raheel Bhyria, and more. — LA, GMA News
