Miss Universe PH 2026 candidates transform into bodies of water, sea creatures in National Costume Showcase

The candidates of Miss Universe Philippines 2026 are total stunners at this year’s National Costume Showcase, presenting grand looks inspired by bodies of water.

From sea creatures to water goddesses, the 50 candidates showcased their imaginative portrayals through world-class creations by Filipino designers.

Among the head-turners of the event were Jacqueline Gulrajani of Tacloban, who depicted the tragedy of Typhoon Yolanda that struck Leyte in 2013 through her Charlotte Rodriguez national costume, as well as Sparkle beauty queen Roxie Smith of Baguio, who embodied the famed Burnham Lake in the City of Pines.

The winner will be crowned by Miss Universe Philippines 2025 and Sparkle artist Ahtisa Manalo at the coronation night on May 2.

The new queen will then represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2026, which will take place in November at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
