Miss Universe officially announces Puerto Rico as 2026 pageant host

It's official: Miss Universe 2026 is happening in Puerto Rico!

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) just released a teaser for the upcoming pageant, featuring sweeping shots of Puerto Rico’s landscapes, from coastal views to vibrant city scenes. The competition, which will mark the franchise's 75th year, is set to take place in November.

“This November 2026, Puerto Rico opens its doors to the universe,” the organization said.

MUO called Puerto Rico a place “where culture comes alive, flavor fills every corner, and every moment is a celebration of legacy, beauty, and pride. This is where the world comes together.”

The reigning Miss Universe queen is Fatima Bosch of Mexico.

The Philippines will crown its official representative to the competition on May 2 .
