Bea Windorski from La Union is Miss Universe Philippines 2026!
As she prepares to represent the country in the Miss Universe pageant in November in Puerto Rico, get to know the newly crowned queen with these five interesting facts.
1. She grew up in the United States
Bea was born in 2002 and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has relocated to the Philippines and is currently based in Makati for the pageant season and her modeling career.
In April, she was among the personalities who walked at Bench Fashion Week, giving a preview of her pasarela walk in a two-piece swimsuit.
2. She won Miss Earth USA 2024
Before joining Miss Universe Philippines 2026, Bea represented Wisconsin at Miss Earth USA 2024, where she won the national title at 21 years old. She also made history as the first Filipino-American to win the crown.
3. She is Miss Earth Water 2024
Competing internationally, Bea represented the United States at Miss Earth 2024 and finished as Miss Earth Water, equivalent to second runner-up.
4. She has a strong academic background
Bea graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a degree in history and international relations.
In her Miss Earth 2024 introduction video, she shared her intention to pursue a doctorate and expressed her goal of working in the humanitarian sector, particularly in refugee-focused initiatives.
5. She is an environmental advocate
In her Miss Universe Philippines 2026 introduction video, Bea highlighted her sea turtle conservation advocacy, which was shaped by her involvement with Project CURMA.
She continues to use her platform to push for stronger action on sustainability and climate resilience in the Philippines. In 2025, she also joined the "Trillion Peso March," where she protested alongside environmentalists from Panatang Luntian.
