Michelin Guide recognizes 5 more Philippine hotels in prestigious list

The prestigious Michelin Guide has added five Philippine hotels to its growing list of recommended hotels in the country, further shining a spotlight on the country's luxury hospitality scene.

The newly recognized hotels are Nawa Wellness, Anya Resort Tagaytay, Manami Resort, Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay, and The Lind Boracay.

The country's featured hotels on the website are now 25 in total.

Located in Calatagan, Batangas, Nawa Wellness was recognized for its focus on holistic healing rooted in the traditional Filipino practice of Hilot.

The resort offers a mix of heritage-inspired accommodations, Malay-style cabanas, and wellness-centered experiences through its Panari Spa and health-conscious dining concept, Dalisay.

Meanwhile, Anya Resort Tagaytay continues to position itself as one of Tagaytay's premier luxury destinations.

Set across 7.2 hectares of lush gardens, the resort is known for its spacious suites, Filipino-inspired architecture, and wellness offerings at the Niyama Wellness Centre. Its signature restaurant, Samira, is led by chef Chele Gonzalez.

In Negros Occidental, Manami Resort in Sipalay earned praise for blending luxury with nature. Nestled between a forested hillside and the Sulu Sea, the boutique property features villas designed with bamboo and timber elements, alongside panoramic ocean and jungle views.

The resort also highlights Negrense cuisine through its Lingaw Restaurant and offers personalized services, including a dedicated nature butler.

Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay, located in the quieter Station Zero area, was recognized for its private beachfront, ocean-facing pools, and diverse dining concepts. The resort likewise caters to both families and couples through its wellness facilities, beach activities, and children's amenities.

The Lind Boracay, situated along Station 1's beachfront, stood out for its contemporary design, spacious accommodations, and signature Filipino hospitality. The hotel also features multiple pools, including a rooftop infinity pool, as well as a variety of dining options serving local and international cuisine.
