KAIA goes viral for performance of 'KPop Demon Hunters' song 'Takedown'
KAIA proved anew that Filipino artists have the vocal chops to perform songs by HUNTR/X, the fictional girl group from the film "KPop Demon Hunters."
The P-pop girl group sang "Takedown" in a Backyard Live event, slaying the rap lines, the high notes, and even the Korean lyrics. KAIA also performed their own song, "You Did It."
A video clip of the performance has gone viral after it was shared on social media, with one post reaching over 2 million views.
Last year, fellow P-pop girl group G22 performed another HUNTR/X song, the award-winning "Golden," at the Acer Day 2025.
The singing voices behind HUNTR/X are Ejae (Rumi), Audrey Nuna (Mira), and Rei Ami (Zoey).
Meanwhile, KAIA is composed of five members: Angela, Charlotte, Sophia, Alexa, Charice. The group debuted in 2022 and is known for their song "Tanga."
Sophia is among the P-pop dance stars in "Stars on the Floor" Season 2. She is partnered with Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino.
