Metro Manila Pride to hold march in June

Metro Manila Pride is back with a Pride march after taking a break for two years.

On Instagram, the organization announced that the march and festival will be happening on June 27 but gave no other details, such as the venue, time, and performers.

Meanwhile, another Pride march and festival is happening on June 27. "LoveL4ban," organized by Pride PH, will be held for the fourth time.

Last year, Pride PH held the Lov3Laban Pride Festival at UP Diliman in Quezon City, with Filipina drag icon Marina Summers, Dia Mate, Klarisse De Guzman, BGYO, and more among its slew of performers.

An annual celebration, Pride Month in June serves to empower the Filipino LGBT+ community by creating spaces where their identities are celebrated, stories are respected, and their rights are recognized. It is also a protest against the abuse and injustices the community faces.
