Crunchyroll Anime Awards: 'My Hero Academia' is Anime of the Year, 'Gachiakuta' named Best New Series

The final season of "My Hero Academia" won Anime of the Year at the 10th annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

The award was presented by The Weeknd at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo on May 23, Saturday.

The series also won Best Ending Sequence and Best Supporting Character for Katsuki Bakugo.

Meanwhile, "Gachiakuta" was named Best New Series and won two more awards: Best Character Art and Best Background Design.
