PH’s Kitt Cortez named Mister Eco International Asia 2026, finishes as 2nd runner-up

Philippine bet Kitt Cortez made a strong showing at the inaugural Mister Eco International pageant, finishing as second runner-up and earning the continental title of Mister Eco International Asia 2026.

During the coronation night held in Baguio City on Thursday, Kitt made it to the competition’s Top 6 finalists, with Yosef Ali of Egypt winning the inaugural Mister Eco International crown and Lucas Prince of France placing first runner-up.

Italy's Luigi Fiore, India's Nawang Dondup, and the Dominican Republic's Alejandro Rodriguez rounded out the finalists.

Other continental titleholders were Nigeria’s Mhannie King, who was named Mister Eco International Africa 2026, Spain’s Ivan Clarete as Mister Eco International Europe 2026, and Brazil’s Fleniker Gomes as Mister Eco International Latino 2026.

During the question and answer round, Kitt was asked: “What does it truly mean to be Mister Eco International?”

In response, Kitt said: “To me, being Mister Eco International means integrating environmentally responsible choices in our daily lives. It's about transforming our willingness into action. It's about turning planet care into a daily habit and not just an optional thing."

"Being Mister Eco International is about a genuine commitment to environmental stewardship. And as far as I'm concerned, anyone can be Mister Eco as long as you possess the purest intentions in your heart and, of course, you practice integrity and responsibility, especially in the smallest of your decisions," he added.
