'Dengeki Daisy' finally gets anime adaptation 13 years after manga ended
"Dengeki Daisy" is finally having an anime adaptation!
The announcement comes 13 years after the manga ended serialization in 2013.
Crunchyroll unveiled the anime's first teaser trailer, which revealed the lead cast who will voice Tasuku Kurosaki and Teru Kurebayashi.
Taku Yashiro will play Kurosaki after giving life to Izumi Sano (Hana-Kimi), Sagara Sanosuke (Rurouni Kenshin), and Shishiba (Sakamoto Days), among other characters.
Meanwhile, Yoshino Aoyama will play Teru. Her previous roles include Hitori Goto (Bocchi the Rock!), Nonoa Miyamae (Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian), and Iana Magnolia (The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess).
"Dengeki Daisy" will stream on Crunchyroll in 2027.
Created by Kyousuke Motomi, the romantic comedy series follows an orphan girl who was entrusted by her late brother to a mysterious stranger called Daisy.
