"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle" is now streaming on Netflix!

The first installment of the "Infinity Castle" trilogy made history in 2025 as the highest-grossing anime film worldwide. In the Philippines, it earned approximately $4.2 million (P238 million) during its opening weekend, making it one of the country's biggest anime box office releases.

Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, the film features Akira Matsushima as Chief Animation Director and Character Designer.

"Demon Slayer" is an anime based on a manga created by Koyoharu Gotouge, which spanned 23 volumes and ran from 2016 to 2020.

The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who loses his mother and almost all his siblings to a demon attack. His sister Nezuko survives but becomes a demon, so Tanjiro searches for a way to turn her back into a human. —Hermes Joy Tunac/MGP, GMA News
