GMA Network, Sparkle ink partnership with UST for upcoming exhibition game

GMA Network and Sparkle GMA Artist Center have officially partnered with the University of Santo Tomas (UST) for an upcoming exhibition game!

On social media, Sparkle shared photos from the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) held at the UST Campus for "The Roar: A Celebrity Match," an exhibition game that will bring together Sparkle artists and the UST Growling Tigers in one court.

Present during the signing were Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Senior Vice President of GMA Network; Joy C. Marcelo, First Vice President of Sparkle GMA Artist Center; Rev. Fr. Louie R. Coronel, O.P., UST Secretary General; Asst. Prof. Jaezamie V. Ong, Project Director of The Roar: A Celebrity Match and Director of the UST Office for Student Affairs; and Charles Isaac Deita, Ph.D., Executive Producer of “The Roar: A Celebrity Match” and representative of flexIT Mobility Solutions.

More details about the event, including its date, venue, and participating celebrities, have yet to be announced.

Previously, Sparkle stars David Licauco, Will Ashley, Josh Ford, and Anthony Constantino, among others, had a basketball showdown with fellow celebrities in May.
