Doctor vlogger Dr. Mike looks back on past romance with Pia Wurtzbach

Dr. Mike, a physician and vlogger, looked back on his past romance with Pia Wurtzbach.

In his latest YouTube vlog, where he sat down with Filipino-Canadian nurse and content creator Nurse John, Dr. Mike, whose full name is Mikhail Varshavski, said that he dated Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach at the peak of her reign as titleholder.

“You probably don’t know, but I should share some of my history,” the doctor vlogger said. “I dated Pia Wurtzbach at the peak of her career.”

Nurse John reacted with disbelief and said, “Pia Wurtzbach? Are you kidding me right now?

He then teased Dr. Mike, saying that he could be considered part Filipino for dating someone from the Philippines.

Dr. Mike spoke about being "well-versed" in pageantry, and the strong sense of community among Filipinos.

"You get absorbed into the culture (if you date a Filipino)," he said.

In 2016, Dr. Mike, who was named People’s Sexiest Doctor Alive, and Pia confirmed their romance in separate interviews.

One of their most notable public outings was a helicopter ride they took in New York City that same year.

The former couple met on the sidelines of New York Fashion Week in February 2016.

Meanwhile, Pia has been married to businessman Jeremy Jauncey since March 2023.
