Zsa Zsa Padilla mourns death of brother Sonny
Zsa Zsa Padilla is mourning the death of her brother, Peregrine “Sonny” Padilla, who passed away at the age of 57.
The singer and actress shared the heartbreaking news in a social media post on Tuesday, saying Sonny’s passing has left an “immeasurable void” in their family.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest brother, Peregrine ‘Sonny’ Padilla,” she wrote.
She remembered Sonny as someone who was deeply loved by their family and expressed gratitude for the memories they shared with him.
“We are grateful for the love, laughter, and memories we shared with him, which we will carry with us always,” she said.
Zsa Zsa also asked for prayers for her brother and their family as they grieve.
“Rest in peace, my dearest brother, Sonny. You will always be loved and forever missed.”
Zsa Zsa's daughter Karylle took to the comments section to honor her uncle, writing, "We love you Tito Sonny."
Fans and fellow celebrities, including Martin Nievera, Benjamin Alves, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, and Cherry Pie Picache, among others, also expressed their condolences.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family this day and always my dear friend. Condolences," Martin said.
"May God’s perpetual light shine upon your brother Sonny," Cherry Pie wrote.
