Atasha Muhlach shares showbiz advice she got from Aga Muhlach, Charlene Gonzales
Atasha Muhlach shared the advice her parents, Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales, gave her when she said she wanted to enter showbiz.
On “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Monday, the rising actress said that one of the wise words she received was to hold on to her truth.
“Just to hold on to the kind of person that you are, to never shortchange yourself, never step on anyone’s toes, and just know that whatever you do, come in with pure intentions always,” Atasha shared. “Because whatever it is, as long as you have a good heart, everything will be okay."
Atasha also receives acting advice from Aga, who had told her that "experience is really our best teacher."
“There’s no shortcuts to anything in life. It’s a lot of hard work, but just continue to be disciplined and keep your feet grounded, and you’ll be okay,” she said.
She likewise described her parents as “both incredible people" and shared about her close bond with her family, who she considers her best friends.
“I think more so they were just very supportive and encouraging of me and Andres to whatever we have, whatever dreams that may be, what you may want in life, is to just work on it and work hard on that," she said.
“We’ve developed that comfortability and relationship and sense of respect for each other because we’re just genuinely so close."
Atasha stars as Annie Batungbakal in “Bongga Ka ‘Day!: The Annie Batungbakal Musical.”
It also stars Sparkle artists Jeff Moses and Anthony Rosaldo, who are among her leading men in the musical.
It runs every weekend until the end of October.
