Solenn, Erwan Heussaff mourn passing of father Louis
Louis Paul Heussaff, the father of celebrity siblings Solenn and Erwan, has passed away.
His wife, Cynthia Heussaff, announced the news on Instagram, confirming that he died on Saturday.
“After struggling with dementia over the past few years, he passed away this morning, October 31, 2026,” she wrote.
“While the last few years have been difficult, we hope that those who knew and loved him will remember him for the person he was, keep his spirited tales alive and cherish their happiest memories of him,” she added.
On Instagram Stories, Erwan reshared the post and simply wrote, “free.”
Meanwhile, Solenn shared a photo of herself hugging her dad, captioning it with a red heart emoji.
Several Filipino celebrities, including Heart Evangelista, Georgina Wilson, Isabelle Daza, and Rajo Laurel, have sent their condolences to the Heussaff family.
In July, Solenn dedicated an artwork inspired by her dad’s dementia.
Dementia is the seventh leading cause of death and a major cause of disability and dependency among older people globally. It is caused by brain diseases and affects memory, thinking and the ability to function. —Hermes Joy Tunac/KG, GMA News
