Volleyball star Cha Cruz's boho-themed bridal shower

Volleyball star Cha Cruz had a boho-themed #bridalchawer at Ascott Makati on Sunday.

It was an athlete-studded event, with of Cha's colleagues and teammates in attendance: Camille Cerveza, Aby Marano, Melissa Gohing, Mika Esperanza, Michelle Gumabao, Celine Hernandez, Carla Javier, Hollie Reyes, Kayde Daly and Michko Castaneda.

On their respective IG accounts, they sent their congratulations to Cha.

"From volleyballs to bridal showers!! So happy for you ate @chaarcruz love you ate and kuya @raybehag," Michelle Gumabao wrote on Instagram.

Mike Esperanza, meanwhile expressed her gratitude for having Cha as her role model.

"To the person that I have always looked up to since I was a rookie, congratulations! ???? I feel so blessed to have witnessed how you and kuya Ray have stayed in love all these years and now you will finally seal the deal!!! You have always been my role model! ? I wish you nothing but happiness! Love you ate Chaaaaaaaaaa," she wrote on her Instagram account.

Cha's fiance Ray Behag proposed to her last April in Seoul, South Korea during Coldplay's concert.
