Valerie Concepcion was ‘feelingera’ thrice before fiancé actually proposed to her
It only took three months for "Ika-5 Utos" star Valerie Concepcion to know that her fiancé, Francis Sunga, was "destined" for her. However, she had to wait for the proposal and was quite the "feelingera" on several occasions.
Valerie during the "Ika-5 Utos" press conference on Monday night said that she expected Francis to propose on her birthday in December 2017, their anniversary in January, and on Valentine's Day 2018.
Alas, Francis still didn't propose. Valerie said that after that, she simply went on with their relationship without expectations.
When asked if she already expected marriage early on in their relationship, she said uncertainties are inevitable, but it's what she wanted.
"Siyempre nando'n 'yong uncertainty but [I was] really hoping na it would end sa gano'n, na papakasalan," she said.
Valerie ended up being happily surprised when Francis flew to the Philippines in July for a league game and the proposal happened a day before Francis flew back to Guam.
"No'ng last day na niya dito [bago] babalik sa Guam, sobrang simple lang, nasa Marco Polo lang kami tapos sinabi na niya sa akin hindi daw siya uuwi ng hindi siya nagpopropose," she said.
"Sabi ko sa kanya, 'Are you serious?' sabi niya 'Yes, I'm asking you now.'"
Valerie said she couldn't help but express her joy, so she told her fiance, "Heto na 'yon, ang tagal kong hinintay."

Wedding plans
Valerie said they are planning to have a church wedding in the Philippines next year, if her current show will still be ongoing that time, the "ultimatum" they have for the wedding is on January 2020.
Despite the long distance relationship, Valerie feels secured and trusts Francis.
"Wala, walang ganon (selos).
