10 times Primo Arellano stole our hearts, made us smile, and gave out good vibes
How cute and charming is Primo Arellano?
Lately, we've been finding ourselves captivated with Drew and Iya's firstborn, ooh-ing and aah-ing at Primo's photos and videos that they — God bless them — have been sharing on Instagram.
We can't quite tell what it is. Is it his beautiful, hopeful eyes? His many endearing expressions? How gentle he is with baby Leon? Is it how he just seems to be enjoying himself all the time?
No matter: Every single time, we look up smiling. It's almost as if Primo's spewing out good vibes directed at no one, and we're just glad we got sprinkled on with some of that. Here's us paying it forward:
1. That time he asked Papa Drew to "help Primo" while swimming
At one point in the video, a nervous-looking Primo asked his Papa Du for assistance. "Papa, help Primo," he said, his arms and legs flailing a little underwater and immediately, he were hooked with concern.
We watched fascinated as he tried to figure out how to get to his Papa Du, and when he face broke into a smile when he caught Drew's hand and Primo realized he was safe? Ah, what a sweetheart.
Will be working on those strokes soon! ?????????????? @iyavillania @drewarellano

2. Primo's 'asim' expression
Drew and Iya luckily caught on camera that time Primo tried to eat calamansi. As the sourness hit his tastebuds, Primo's cute face crumpled into a fold and he blurted out, "asim."
3. When Drew made a story about Primo's playtime in the sink and turned it into a harmless joke
On his Instagram account, Drew posted a burst of photos of Primo, presumably playing in the sink, and accompanied it with a joke of a caption you cannot not see all the love there.
"Walang gusto magpaligo sa akin ah. Pwes! Kaya ko na to!"

4. Primo's extreme and happy focus, and then that moment he realized he was being given a haircut
It was an easy job for Primo's barber, as he sat on his father's lap, well-behaved and happily focused on the videos Drew was playing on his phone.
Primo looks up to see himself being recorded by Iya, quickly returns to the videos, and in a split-second, he looks back up at the camera again and recognizes something was off — was it that he was being given a haircut? — but nah, the video was too entertaining.
5. When he F na F ate pasta
In the middle of the photo burst, was a picture of Primo doing — is that his rendition of beautiful eyes? — as he ate his pasta. It must be good.
Anak, we are not shooting a tvc ok??? Just eat your spaghetti properly!????????????

6. When he first met his baby Leon
In the video, Primo first examined his mother's abdomen, and when he realized Leon wasn't there, he looked for him in the ecobags on the floor. He excitedly entered his parents' room, and smiling, he checked his brother. After fussing on his gift, Primo kissed Leon on the tummy. Since then, he's always been gentle with his little brother!
7. That time he learned how to pray
He was recorded on video adorably closing his eyes and putting his hands together, before a meal. So cute!
"I’ve been wanting to catch this on video coz it’s just the cutest thing. This is Primo praying Well... in the process of learning how to, we’re currently learning how to close our eyes during prayer so here he is trying," wrote Iya.
8. That time Primo hammed it up for the camera while brushing his teeth
It didn't seem like it in the photos. Primo looked like he liked brushing his teeth.
But Daddy Drew made it clear he was just hamming it for the camera. "Anak, how come when there's a camera you brush your teeth, if there's none we need to move heaven and earth just to get near you with a toothbrush?" Drew asked in the caption.
9. When Primo introduced us to the concept of 'skinny-reading'
Mom Iya caught Primo comfortably reading on the couch in nothing but his birthday suit. Looks like we know where Primo will be doing quality reading when he grows up.
10. When he was invisibly enjoying the company of "his angels"
We specially loved Drew's Instagram post of Primo and his yaya having a really good time. It's hard to miss the fact that they really like each other's company.
