Sports stars Denden Lazaro, LA Revilla engaged

Volleyball star Dennise "Denden" Lazaro and her long-term boyfriend, Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player LA Revilla, are now engaged.

In a post on her official Instagram account on Sunday, Lazaro posted a photo of the two of them—with a ring on full display on her ring finger.

She then captioned the post with "Small things can make the biggest impact," followed by a ring emoji and words of affection for her partner.

The couple played their respective sports in university, but for rival schools—Lazaro for Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), and Revilla for De La Salle University.

As professionals, the two are also playing for rivals—this time, fuel firms: Revilla currently plays for the Phoenix Fuel Masters in the PBA, while Lazaro plays for the Petron Blaze Spikers in the Philippine SuperLiga (PSL). — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/BM, GMA News
