Jason Abalos is prioritizing GF Vickie's 2nd Bb. Pilipinas stint over marriage plans
Jason Abalos said he prioritizes supporting her long time girlfriend Vickie Rushton on her second stint on Binibining Pilipinas before pursuing marriage plans with her.
"Sa ngayon, mas gusto kong i-prioritize yung pagsali niya sa Binibinini, kasi gusto ko maging focus siya dun," Jason told GMA News Online in an exclusive interview at the press conference of his upcoming afternoon drama series "Bihag" on Monday.

Because the Kapuso actor was sure they will end up in marriage, Jason advised Vickie to focus on winning the crown first.
"Sabi ko, 'wag mo munang isipin yung sa atin, kasi kahit anong mangyari, duon pa rin naman yung punta natin eh," Jason said.
When asked if they are already talking about marriage, he said, "Oo naman, pero hindi pa ngayon."
Jason said he would be willing to wait for as long as Vickie wins, "Kahit kung aabot kami ng 3-5 years dahil mananalo siya nang mananalo, why not."
He is proud to be Vickie's cheerleader, pushing her to do better than she did last year.
"Sabi ko, ilaban mo na. Kung last year, medyo mahiyain ka pa, ngayon baguhin mo na. Makikita mo kung ano yung ginawa mo last year na puwede mong gawin ngayon na hindi mo pa nagagawa," Jason said.
Vickie finished as Binibining Pilipinas 2018's first runner-up.
She is one of the forty candidates who will join the pageant this year.
Secret to a strong relationship
Jason credits Vickie as the secret to their strong, six-year relationship.
"Sobrang magmahal si Vickie. Sobra 'yung kahit ano mangyari, ako yung pinipili niya. Iba yun eh, parang iba talaga yung kinalikahan ni Vickie na wala siyang ibang kinalakihan kung hindi magmahal lang," Jason shared.
The former "Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko" star also said that he and Vickie always make sure to fix every problem they encounter in their relationship even the small ones.
"Ibinibigay ko lahat sa kanya, lahat ng bagay, 'lahat 'to kaya tayo tumagal dahil sayo' kasi ang dami ko rin naman naging ka-relasyon na diba parang hindi naman kami tumagal dahil may mga nangyayare na hindi naayos pero samin ni Vickie kahit konting maliit na problem lang pag-usapan natin yun yung never kong nagawa sa mga past relationships ko."
Jason will be starring in GMA-7's new afternoon series "Bihag," along with Mark Herras, Max Collins, Sophie Albert, Raphael Landicho and Neil Ryan Sese. It will premiere on April 1. — LA, GMA News
