Heart Evangelista bares life as a politician's wife in latest vlog

We're used to seeing Heart Evangelista in designer gowns and turning heads in glamorous events, but have you seen her crawl on the floor to pet a puppy and then remove its fleas?

The Kapuso actress and style icon did this and more in her latest vlog, "Mahal Kong Sorsogon," where she showed a completely different facet of her life: being a politician's wife.

"Most of you know me as an actress, painter, but I've never really opened my life to you as a politician's wife and believe me, it's not as easy as it looks. But I think it would be the most fulfilling," she said.

Heart is the wife of outgoing Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero, who won a gubernatorial seat in Sorsogon.

She showed the simpler and more relaxed lifestyle in the province, a big contrast to her life as a celebrity.
