Love life or career? A majority of Filipinos would actually choose careers

Don’t look now but the majority of Filipinos will choose careers over love life.

An episode of Stand For Truth looked at the declining number of marriage, and cited the 2018 Social Weather Station survey, which said that three of five Filipinos — or a good 59% —would rather choose careers over love life.

It sounds awfully familiar. In June, GMA News Online asked the 40 candidates of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant what they would choose, crown or jowa.

Almost all of them answered — you know it — crown.
