Rhea Santos is off to Canada

Rhea Santos officially left the Philippines to fly to Canada on Monday evening.

On Twitter, the former "Unang Hirit" host posted a photo of herself boarded on a plane.

"Time to fly. Love you guys! Salamat," Rhea tweeted.

After working with GMA for 19 years, Santos decided to start a new chapter of her life in Canada with her family.

Santos will also be studying Broadcast and Online Journalism at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. —JST, GMA News
