Dingdong Dantes freaks out over Zia's luau costume

Dingdong Dantes' protective streak revealed itself when he woke up to Zia in a luau costume.

The Kapuso star posted photos of his daughter wearing the pink Hawaiian-themed costume and borrowed Willie Revillame's catchphrase: "Bigyan ng jacket 'yan!"

"So ito ang bumungad sa akin kaninang umaga pagkagising ko. Wala na ako ibang nasabi kundi, 'bigyan nga ng jacket yan!'" Dingdong said.

Fellow overprotective dad Paolo Contis also had a hilarious response to the photos.

"Balik sa kwarto! Isuot ang turtle neck!" he commented.

Zia attended a Luau party at school, according to Marian Rivera's post on Instagram, and actually won best costume.

Marian wrote, "My little Hawaiian girl! Ate Z awarded best costume at her schools Luau party. Congratulations anak."
