Neri Miranda opens up about the time Chito finally left his 'babaero' ways and changed for her

Neri Naig, wife of Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda, shared on Tuesday a one-year-old blog post, where she narrated exactly how she coped with Chito's cheating ways.

In the blog post, which date back to May 2018, Neri gave advice on how to cope after being cheated on, saying that kindness will really kill cheaters.

Katatapos ko lang magcheck ng sales report at nagbukas ng social media. Ang dami kong notifications lalo na sa Facebook Page ko. Last year ko pa naisulat 'tong blog na 'to. Pinost ko lang sa Facebook. Ang daming nakarelate. Kung trip nyong basahin ang pagkahaaaaba haba kong blog tungkol sa kung ano nga ba ang ginawa ko para sa sarili ko nung mga panahong uhmm paano ko ba sasabihin... yung mga panahong malandi pa si Chito, hehe! However, she admitted that there came a time — they weren't married yet — when she couldn't take it anymore. She told Chito she was giving up already.

Instead of begging and crying, Chito actually did the opposite, according to Neri.

"Sabi niya, 'OK! Great! Ide-date ko lahat ng girls na gusto ko ngayong gabi mismo.' Sabay kuha ng phone, may mga tinext, may mga tinawagan. Ang dami agad sumagot!" Neri shared.

In just less than an hour, Neri narrated, Chito left already to pick up his first girl.

"Gago no? Wala man lang, 'Neri, sige ta-try kong maging good boyfriend para mag work ang relationship natin.' Wala. Nagdiwang pa nga ata ang gago. Sira ulo 'yun! Gago talaga! Hahaha!" Neri wrote.

However, while she was packing all of her stuff and putting it all in boxes already, all while playing Parokya's 'Halaga', Chito actually came back crying.

"Niyakap ako ng mahigpit. Humihingi ng tawad. Ang tanga-tanga niya daw kung papakawalan niya ako. Nasa kanya na daw yung babaeng pinapangarap niya tapos tine-take for granted niya pa," the actress shared.

Chito, said Neri, didn't even finish his date with the other girl. He left and went to fix things with Neri.

Neri said, "Nag-promise siya na hinding hindi na niya ako sasaktan, na hinding hindi na siya mambabae. Nag-promise din daw siya kay God."

Neri clarified that she in no way flirted or cheated with other guys as payback for what Chito did.

She also clarified that if you've done your part already — loved them wholeheartedly, cared for them, respected them — and yet they still continue on hurting you emotionally and especially physically, it's not right anymore.

She added, "Kapag malabong makita niya ang worth mo bilang isang babae at bilang isang tao, it’s time to move on."

Chito recently shared a post on Instagram saying that he stopped flirting with other women not because Neri asked her to but because he "wanted her to be in love with someone who was worth loving." — Kaela Malig/LA, GMA News
