Valeen Montenegro's dad, Iñaki Vicente, has passed away. He was 65.
On Valeen's Instagram Stories Saturday, the Bubble Gang actress posted a photo of her dad with the caption, "Our angel."
Last October, Valeen went on a Spain escapade with her family.
In her IG posts during their Spain trip, Valeen asked for prayers for Iñaki as he was already in the intensive care unit (ICU) that time.
The OG loveteam that gave birth to... ME!!! Happy Birthday to the cutest of them all, Mommy! We are all here for you all the way. Love you so much @honeyletvicente!!!! A little gift that my mom would want for her birthday, is continues prayers for my Dad who’s in the ICU at the moment. ???????? Thank you!
"Please continue praying for my Dad. Thank you to all who took time to check up on us," she wrote in the caption of their family photo in front of Palacio Real de Madrid.
Last January 6, Valeen posted a photo of her with his dad during their Spain trip.
"Jamón de Photobomber ala Pàpalo. I have so many great photos of our Spain trip, I’ll be slowly posting them all," she wrote in the caption.
Iñaki was one of the Philippines top football players in the 1970's.
He was the general manager of he KAYA Futbol Club, which paid tribute Iñaki on its Facebook page saying he was "a pillar of Philippine football for decades and a mentor and father figure to many."
According to Kaya FC Academy, the official futbol school of Kaya FC, Iñaki died on January 9.
