Mikael Daez commemorates 'firsts' with Megan Young as married couple

Mikael Daez is still basking in the afterglow of his and wife Megan Young's wedding.

The Kapuso couple tied the knot — twice! — in January and as he reviews the photos, the actor said he noticed some of their "firsts" as husband and wife.

In an Instagram post, Mikael shared their first drive, and even their first bite.

Our photos from the wedding are slowly trickling in and as Bonez and I go through them from time to time, I noticed a couple of cute stories and “firsts”? ? First photo aka “The First Drive” - Over the years, my love for cars and driving has somewhat rubbed off on Bonez. She made me the happiest groom when she definitively claimed that she would drive for me instead of the other way around. We also used our trusty, red hatchback that we would always take on our Sunday morning drives to Subic.? ? Second photo aka “The First Bite” - We had been to many weddings before and used this experience to our advantage. Before leaving for our reception, we grabbed a dirty ice cream cone (cheese only!). We refused to get hungry before dinner so snuck in this snack to make sure we stayed happy and flappy :p? ? Third photo aka “The Toasty Floaty Coffee” - Our drink of choice is and will forever be coffee. It made sense that our toast would use a coffee float made by some of our friends that was inspired from a coffee trip we took to Japan! We had a coffee float! An earthy and chilled brew of coffee with a layer of thick milk gently floating on top of it. Super yummy!

In the first photo, Megan is seen behind the wheel instead of Mikael.

"Over the years, my love for cars and driving has somewhat rubbed off on Bonez. She made me the happiest groom when she definitively claimed that she would drive for me instead of the other way around. We also used our trusty, red hatchback that we would always take on our Sunday morning drives to Subic," he wrote.

He also revealed that their first meal after the wedding was dirty ice cream!

"Before leaving for our reception, we grabbed a dirty ice cream cone (cheese only!). We refused to get hungry before dinner so snuck in this snack to make sure we stayed happy and flappy," he said.

Mikael also shared their rare choice of toast during the reception: a yummy coffee float.

Anyone familiar with the couple knows that they both have a deep love for coffee and enjoy having it together.

"Our drink of choice is and will forever be coffee," the actor said. "It made sense that our toast would use a coffee float made by some of our friends that was inspired from a coffee trip we took to Japan! We had a coffee float! An earthy and chilled brew of coffee with a layer of thick milk gently floating on top of it. Super yummy!"

Mikael and Megan had two wedding ceremonies, one in Batangas on January 10, attended by just 10 guests, and another on January 25 in San Roque Church in Subic followed by a reception at a ranch.
