"Kung alam mo naman sa sarili mo na 'yung passion mo, 'yung sinumpaan mong tungkulin tapos kasama mo pa 'yung pinakamamahal mong tao, kumbaga merong sense of fulfillment din eh," said Ryan, who works at Bulacan Medical Center.
The couple, who has been together for three years, hoped that when they enter the facility this week, they would be able to save a lot of lives.
"Sana maging successful 'yung pagpasok natin sa loob, marami tayong matulungan, marami tayong mapagaling," Melanie said.
"Ngayon tayo kailangan ng mga kababayan natin, ng buong bansa natin. Ito na 'yung chance natin to give back sa ating bayan," Ryan added.
