Chito Miranda shares appreciation post for stay-at-home wife: 'Neri makes it look so easy'
Chito Miranda has found a deeper appreciation for stay-at-home moms due to the enhanced community quarantine.
In an Instagram post, the Parokya ni Edgar frontman expressed admiration for his wife Neri as she's been able to juggle work, house chores, and taking care of their son Miggy this whole time.
"One thing na na-realize ko during this lockdown is sobrang hirap pala talaga ng ginagawa ni Neri bilang stay home mom," Chito wrote.
"Don't get me wrong...sobrang masaya ako na nakakapag-stay ako sa bahay because of my long break from work, at masaya talaga ako na nakakapag-spend ako ng time with Miggy...pero I must admit, sooobrang nakakapagod pala talaga makipag-sabayan kay Miggy day in, day out," he said.
In the photo he shared, Neri could be seen pouring some ingredients into a bowl while Miggy did the mixing.
"Neri makes it look so easy," Chito said. "Sa lagay na yan may work pa sya (sobrang dami nyang deadlines), tapos may time pa sya mag-luto at mag-gardening."
Now that he's spending more time at home due to the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the singer said he wants to make it up to her.
"Kaya ngayon, lahat ng pwede ko ibawi, ginagawa ko. Gusto ko makapag-nap sya tuwing may chance. Gusto ko nagkakaroon sya ng 'me time' whenever possible. Pinagsisilbihan ko din sya hangga't maaari," he said.
"Nagkaroon talaga ako ng better understanding at deeper appreciation sa lahat ng ginagawa nya," he added. "Saludo sa lahat ng mga nanay, at sa tumatayong mga nanay sa mundo."
