Chito Miranda writes sweet love song for Neri on her birthday

Chito Miranda just shared a heart-warming love song he wrote for his wife Neri on her birthday.

The Parokya ni Edgar frontman shared a link to the song “Smile” on social media, saying “Instead of posting a birthday message with a long caption for Neri, I decided to write a song and make a simple slideshow for her instead.”

“Happy Birthday, Ms.Neri!!! Mahal na mahal kita,” Chito added.

“Smile” gives fans an idea how Neri has been making Chito happy over the years.

The singer-songwriter came up with a soothing guitar melody accompanied by some deeply personal lyrics about his wife.

The start of the song goes like this:

It doesn’t matter if you’re sleeping/It doesn’t matter if you’re bored / It doesn’t matter if you are singing while I’m struggling with the chords

The Pinoy rockstar also put together a heartwarming slideshow of some special moments with Neri and posted it on his accounts across social media. 

Chito Miranda and Neri Naig tied the knot in a civil ceremony back in 2014.

They are now proud parents to a little boy named Miggy.
