Alessandra de Rossi greets her parents on their anniversary with fresh batch of throwback photos
Alessandra de Rossi has been entertaining her Instagram followers with throwback photos of her and Assunta as children for weeks now.
Captioned with self-deprecating witticisms, the pictures focused mostly on the two "notorious De Rossi sisters" with their parents only occasionally making an appearance.
On Friday, however, their mom and dad became the subject of Alessandra's blast from the past.
"Happy 38th wedding anniversary to my rockstars!" she wrote in the caption. "38 years with someone is no joke. Pagod na nga ako sa sarili ko pa lang at 36! How do you do it @ermatsko? Or maybe si daddy talaga ang dapat tanungin!"
In another post, the actress told the story of how her mother and father met and fell in love.
"Nagkita sa dilim sa luneta.. Nagkapalitan ng address. Naging penpals for a year," she said. "Ito ang mga photos na pinadala ni @ermatsko kay daddy sa mga sulat nya. Wala pa kasing filter noon kaya malayo nalang ang photo."
Alessandra could not resist ribbing her mom a few, saying that her dad prayed a novena after seeing her again in person and this time when it was bright.
She also shared the secret of how her mom charmed her dad.
"Nung first night ay inakbayan lang ni daddy si mama at ang sabi nya ay LUIGI, DON'T TATS ME. ayun. Pinakasalan agad," she quipped. "Tips to girls.... Play pa hard to get! It works!" —MGP, GMA News
