Phoemela Baranda is pregnant at 40 years old
Phoemela Baranda announced that she is pregnant at 40 years old with a photo showing off her baby bump in a feature for Preview.
"Life Begins," she wrote on Instagram, sharing a black and white snap of herself wearing nothing but strap heels.
In an exclusive interview with Preview, Phoemela revealed she will be giving birth in March 2021.
"For the gender, I will keep you posted. Keeping it a bit of a surprise!" she said.
The article said she planned the pregnancy with her partner, businessman and professional race car driver Jason Choachuy.
In the interview, Phoemela said she always wanted to have another child and her partner wanted one as well for his first.
Phoemela has a 21-year-old daughter named Kim Nichole, whom she gave birth to when she was 19.
"This time the only difference is that I'm more mentally prepared but [I feel the] same amount of excitement and love, especially that my partner and Kim are beside me for support," she said. —Jannielyn Bigtas/MGP, GMA News
