Sheena Halili celebrates first birthday as a mother: 'Happy talaga ang birthday ko ngayon'
Sheena Halili celebrated her 34th birthday — her first as a mom — on Saturday, January 16.
On Instagram, she marked the occasion by posting photos of her special day, saying she knew there wouldn't be any parties but "gusto ko kahit papaano may picture kami ng family ko na birthday ko lalo na syempre first bday ko kasama ang aking baby Martina."
Sheena put up a birthday setup to celebrate herself. "So kahapon lang mismo, nag pabili ako ng balloons at ako na rin ang nag-decorate para sa sarili ko. At recycled cake na yan from Martina’s 1st month bday," she shared.
Little did she know that her husband, friends, and their family have also prepared a surprise for her birthday.
"PERO salamat sa aking asawa, family at friends at sabay-sabay niyo pala hinihintay ang 12mn para sa birthday ko! May hinanda pala silang cake, sash at tiara pa," she said.
Sheena said her wish is nothing but good health for the whole family.
"Happy talaga ang birthday ko ngayon. Thank you, Jesus! Wala nako hihilingin pa!" she wrote in another post.
Sheena said some of her family members who attended her intimate celebration at home underwent swab tests to assure their safety.
The new parents welcomed Baby Martina on December 13.
