Sick of being single? Lonely hearts say they found love right after kissing this stone

Did you know that there's a "kissing stone" in the Philippines that's believed to have the power to help you find love?

According to "Unang Hirit," many lonely hearts have trekked all the way to Lake Holon in T'Boli, South Cotabato just to kiss this "mystical" rock and ask for its help in finding "the one."

"Ang Lake Holon ay, of course, pinaniniwalaan po ito ng aming tribo na dito po nakatira ang aming mga guardians or ang aming mga diyos," T'Boli tourism officer Rodel Hilado said.

"Nagwi-wish at saka humahalik sila sa stone in relation to our gods and guardians in the lake," he added.

This may be no more than a legend for some, but there are actually people who say they found their "forever" right after kissing the stone.

Online Seller Glenox Sabacan, for example, went to the stone after failing to get over her ex for two years.

So she kissed the stone and, after three months, found her now partner of four years.

John Mark Española, meanwhile, came across the stone during an outreach climb a couple of years ago.

He had been single for four years, and he met his now-girlfriend just one week after kissing the stone.

"Alam na namin 'yung story 'nung bato, wala namang mawawala if i-try kong ku-miss din," he said. —Margaret Claire Layug/MGP, GMA News
